The Distinctive Schools Uniform  

CICS Longwood Elementary follows the below dress code to ensure students are dressed appropriately.  

3-5 grade uniform visual

6-8 grade uniform visual

The Campus Leadership Team at each school reserves the right to determine what constitutes appropriate dress. Students who do not adhere to these guidelines will receive a phone call home for a family member to bring a more school appropriate outfit, and/or students may be asked to wear school-issued clothing.  Families will also be called if appropriate clothing is not available or the student refuses dress-code requirements.

Accessories:

  • Jewelry should be limited in both size and quantity.

  • Smart Watches are not permitted. Please see cell phone and other electronic device

    policy.

  • Only head-coverings worn in accordance with religious observation are allowed.

  • A student may be asked to remove excessive make-up by school staff.

Other items: 

  • No sunglasses

  • No open toed shoes

  • No hoop or dangling earrings (for safety reasons)

  • No sagging pants

  • No visible tattoos

  • No hats

  • No designs of any kind are permitted in the eyebrows

Articles of clothing, boots, tennis shoes, and lunch boxes should be marked with the child’s name, and grade, or room number so they may be returned if lost.
